Who are we?
We are a young and innovative Climate Tech Start-Up based in Hamburg, Germany building the world’s first climate adaptation management platform by translating insights from climate science and know-how from climate adaptation into climate risk and adaptation recommendations.

What responsibilities does the role have?
. You will take lead on major technical and architectural decisions for tech development from web backend to frontend, potentially developing into a leading role
. You lead the API development for the frontend and for external clients
. You work with the internal tech & product team as well as sub-contractors and are responsible to develop a stunning SaaS frontend
. You are responsible to bring our services to a cloud environment and ensure the scalability
. You create top-notch code and support junior team members to grow to a senior role
. You oversee the improvement of the existing data pipeline to cater for new features
. You are responsible to maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline
. You are constantly looking for improvement and growth potential of repath
. You support in all the various tasks a start-up must deal with and become an entrepreneur yourself
What are we looking for?
. You have 6+ years work experience as a Full Stack developer
. You own a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or another relevant field
. You are knowledgeable about modern web frontends (preferably vue.js)
. You have worked with microservice architecture and databases
. You have hands-on experience working with CI/CD systems (preferably Bitbucket)
. You have experience in cloud computing (preferably GCP)
. You have experience in building and operating a SaaS-solution (beneficial)
. You are comfortable in an agile and fast changing environment
. You have good communication skills and are able to take on responsibilities
. You are a multitasker & problem solver with a strong analytic mind and a hands-on builder mentality
. You are driven about the ClimateTech Industry; specifically, about climate risks and adaptation to climate change and want to make a positive impact on our planet
. You are enthusiastic to be part of building up a purpose driven new work organization
. You are self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, structured, a fast learner
. You enjoy growth businesses with unpredictable environments and are comfortable with change
. You are honest and challenge us with your open feedback to constantly develop us further
. You are a mature, reflected individual that is thriving for professional and personal growth

. Let´s talk about money: depending on working experience and qualifications we are offering a salary range of 55-70k gross per year for 35 hours.
